show Abstracthide AbstractIn this work, we set out to contribute to the production of new high-quality genomic data providing a new high-quality draft genome sequence of Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens INBov1 that may serve as the first closed reference genome for this species. We were able to assemble 96% of the estimated genome in one sequence and discovered a new putative megaplasmid, the first identification of a megaplasmid in this species. This is an important contribution to the understanding of the genome sequence of an organism that plays an important role for the improvement of livestock productivity and may contribute to further studies on human health effects.
